Miri is living a double life, shifting between the devoted Israeli family she raised, and the passionate Martha she once was in germany. But when her lover unexpectedly dies, she must confront her past and present
Miri, 56, is living a stable yet double life.. On one hand she has her legit “all-Israeli” family she built when coming to Israel from Germany years ago; on the other hand, she's involved in a long term affair with an Israeli man who’s infatuated with the German culture and language. When he lover doesn't show up for their usual rendezvous, she discovers that he died and has to go through a secret grieving process completely alone trying to find a new way to reconnect with her German past.
MIRI MARTHA is driven from both secret process of grieving the heroine must endure, and the element of identity, especially in the fragile relations I discovered still between Germans and Israelis.
