A depressed and suicidal Finnish girl travels to Israel in order to be accidentally killed, but it’s not as easy as it sounds
A depressed and suicidal Finnish high school girl travels to Israel in order to be accidentally killed, but the plan is jeopardized when a failed Palestinian suicide bomber falls in love with her and decides to keep her alive
In Finland I’ve followed closely one young girl’s battle with depression, and while living in Israel I’ve seen the desperation of people trying to live their lives in a conflict zone. Through these experiences I’ve become interested in the question of how a person finds a will to live, or to die. The connection of these themes to both of my worlds (Finland and Israel) makes for a juxtaposition of drama and comedy which I hope to explore in this film
